The Baltimore Region was named one of just 31 federally designated Tech Hubs in the country, recognized for its leadership in biotech, AI, and advanced manufacturing.
Backed by the CHIPS and Science Act, this designation means better positioning for more funding, more jobs, and more innovation—driven by a 49-member consortium of startups, universities, and builders.
We’ve already unlocked $23M in investment and launched pilot projects focused on economic opportunity and advanced manufacturing. The message is clear: Baltimore is not just in the game. We’re setting the pace.
